What Can You Learn in 10 Minutes?
Can you really walk away with actionable insights from a ten-minute presentation? If you ask the millions of people who watch TED talks each year, the answer is a resounding “YES!”
Blanchard speakers will recreate that experience in two upcoming webinars.
In a short, ten-minute format, eight Blanchard speakers will showcase key points from sessions they will conduct at the Blanchard Leadership Summit, being held October 8-10.
The first is happening on August 15. That’s when four Blanchard subject matter experts are going to be taking a look at learner engagement under time constraints, new classroom technology, and how to measure learning effectiveness in a way that connects learning to bottom-line results.
Here’s what the speakers will be presenting:
· Learner Engagement and Motivation—Putting the Active in Interactive: As in-person development opportunities are on the rise globally, updating delivery skills to keep learners engaged and motivated is essential. In this session, instructional design expert Dr. Vicki Halsey will share proven techniques for interacting, engaging, and ensuring that participants hear their own voice during your sessions.
· Learner Time Constraints—I’ll Get Right to the Point: Balancing development opportunities with job responsibilities and personal commitments presents a significant challenge for many learners in today’s fast-paced world. Blanchard learning expert Randy Conley will share no-nonsense tips for maximizing learning impact without overwhelming your learners or compromising their performance.

Blanchard’s measurement expert Jim Irvine will share practical tips for using immediate feedback, follow-up assessments, and performance metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness and help you justify future budgets to senior leadership.
· Tech-Savvy Training—Staying Up to Date: Ensuring that classroom delivery skills (virtual or in-person) remain relevant and up to date with industry standards is a significant challenge for HR and L&D professionals. Technology expert Betty Dannewitz will show you how to effectively integrate the latest classroom technology into your skill set.
